| | Setup | The venue offers a ground floor with the capability to sub-divide into the North (13,000 sq. ft. with a private 19th Street lobby) and South event spaces (17,000 sq. ft., accessed through the private main lobby at 18th Street). The space also includes additional lofts on the 4th and 5th floors. |
One of NYCs premier special event locations, the space offers four venue options in one location and hosts everything from gala dinners to fashion events, weddings to trade and public exhibitions.
The 30,000 sq. ft. main floor, consisting of the North and South sections, has elegant polished oak floors accentuated by architectural highlights original to the turn-of-the-century landmark building, with private lobbies on both 18th and 19th Streets.
The 13,000 sq. ft. North room, with a capacity of 600 guests (570 for seated dinner), blends vintage loft elements with sophisticated lighting, such as pin spots sparking through fluid metal scrims, and cocoons the environment within an atmosphere of rich blue and gray hues.
The 17,000 sq. ft. South room, which holds 965 guests reception-style and 650 for a sit-down affair, features the contemporary south lobby with high white walls, burnished silver accents and a mint green terrazzo floor glinting with inlaid sea shells.
The 7,300 sq. ft. 4th Floor Loft, which holds up to 280 for receptions and dinners, provides a chic, all-white aesthetic with a high-gloss epoxy resin floor. The floor
becomes its own decorative element, softly reflecting natural or colored lighting in the room. As a white blank canvas space with natural sunlight, the space's powers of transformation are incredible. It also connects to the 5th Floor event space via a broad, turn-of-the-century iron staircase.
The building's newest event space, the 5th Floor Loft (See Picture), offers 9,000 sq. ft. of contemporary refinement in a fashionable yet state-of-the-art setting. Its welcoming aesthetic features a polished oak floor, striking marble and natural sunlight. Seamlessly incorporated are an expandable array of directional and ambient lighting, audio and video capability, and WiFi and T1 connectivity. It opened in early 2006 and is located on the 5th floor, holding up to 280 guests.
