For the ultimate in privacy, consider the Exclusive Use of the facility, giving you and your guests access to all the themed environments that New York’s most famous attraction has to offer. With Exclusive Use of the attraction, the museum is closed to the public. Your guests are treated to a red carpet arrival and taken up the grand staircase before being whisked by glass elevator to Opening Night Party, where they are greeted by notable celebrities* such as Jennifer Lopez, Julia Roberts, Hugh Grant, and Harrison Ford at an after-hours cocktail party held in an Italian Palazzo-like setting complete with Tuscan tiles, columns and a cascading waterfall. Opening Night Party is the perfect spot to start your evening with welcome cocktails and hors d’oeuvres.
After cocktails in Opening Night Party, your guests move on to dinner in The Gallery with its rotunda-style setting and marble floors. Your guests will have the opportunity to circulate among a fascinating array of American and international leaders from the worlds of politics, history and the arts. As you leave The Gallery, your guests proceed through the VIP Room to the world of Pop Culture. This is the perfect setting for a Viennese dessert reception for the finale to an amazing event. 42nd Street Viewing Gallery
Soar to new heights in the 42nd Street Viewing Gallery, which holds up to 80 guests for a cocktail reception and 40 for a seated dinner. Upon entering the Viewing Gallery, eyes are immediately drawn toward the panoramic views overlooking historic 42nd Street from the floor-to-ceiling windows. Enjoy cocktails and canapés or a fully seated dinner while taking in the sights and sounds of the bustling city. During your event, you are whisked by private glass elevators and taken to Opening Night Party, where the tour of the attraction begins.
VIP Room
Descend down the stairs and into the VIP Room, which can accommodate 60 people for cocktails and 30 for dinners. Immerse yourself in every lavish detail of this latest addition to the attraction -- disco lighting and a dance floor area all contribute to the club-like atmosphere. Dance to today’s hottest club favorites with A-list celebrities such as Usher, Jessica Simpson, Shakira, Lenny Kravitz, and Madonna.
Subway Series
Play ball with David Wright and Derek Jeter in the Subway Series hosted by George Steinbrenner. Holding up to 75 standing guests and 50 seated, this unique sports-themed event space includes a replica of Mets’ and Yankees’ dugouts and pitching and cheering game.
Superman Returns
Walk through the doors of our telephone booths and you are transported into Metropolis, where you have the chance to meet one of the greatest Superheroes and fly like superman. The Metropolis can host private events for up to 60 standing guests and 30 seated.
