Offering 11,000 square feet of stunning event space inspired by colorful, contemporary Mexican architecture, the Midtown Manhattan restaurant features a tequila bar with over 100 different types of tequila, a 43-foot long communal table, four individual dining vaults, a private dining area that can accommodate 40 guests, and an outdoor café to enjoy Modern Mexican menu al fresco!
The Modern Mexican restaurant has plenty of private and semi-private dining options for your group. Lunches, dinners and brunches for parties of 35 to 50 guests can be accommodated in the private dining room. The semi-private upper and lower mezzanines can also accommodate groups of 20 to 30 guests, and the main dining room can accommodate smaller parties of 13 to 20 guests. Buyouts for larger NYC private events are also available.
Consider the menu a boarding pass to Mexico City. Enjoy Cazuela de Queso, Rib Eye Steak Alambre or one of the other modern takes on traditional Mexican cuisine like the Grilled Kobe Beef Tacos with Caramelized Onions. And no one should miss the fresh, made-to-order guacamole served with homemade tortilla chips - or veggies for those counting carbs! After spicing up your night, cool down with some sweet, mouth-watering masterpieces. Top picks include the Mexican Chocolate Banana Split and Crepas de Cajeta, a combination of warm Pistachio Crepes, Roasted Bananas and Cajeta Sauce. For beverages, join in on a pitcher of sangria or try one of the restaurant's irresistible specialty cocktails, such as the Cosmo del Diablo that combines Chile-infused Vodka, Passion Fruit Juice and Pineapple Juice. Or sit back and sample one (or a flight) of the 150 tequilas.
The Midtown restaurant's private and semi-private group options make it a great choice for your next New York City corporate event, meeting, wedding, wine tasting, holiday party, birthday dinner, fundraiser, sweet 16, rehearsal dinner, office party or film/photo shoot. Catch a few rays in this Mexican restaurant's 120-seat outdoor cafe or soak in the warmth of sunset-colored 380-seat indoor surroundings, including a painted mural framed by a stone wall and a rosewood tree trunk bar designed by the in-house team. You'll be feeling that Baja breeze in no time. Muy bien indeed! Catering | The Mexican restaurant offers on-site catering and does not allow outside catering.
