The second floor hosts many of the rehearsals, classes and events and the building is home to over 50 different offices and studios.
The 1,000 square foot Event Room of this Brooklyn event space supports many types of performances and presentations. For larger-scale projects and disciplines such as film projection, studio, and gallery space, speaking engagements, music and performance art, the Event Room can be used on its own or in conjunction with the Arcade and Screening Room down the hall.
The 15,000 square foot roof provides an unobstructed view of the New York City skyline. It is host to many NY film screenings, musical and dance performances as well as private events and parties. Seasonal use with full electrical and plumbing service includes restaurant tables and chairs, lighted railing, concessions equipment and shade tents. In the event of rain, a contingency indoor space is just down the stairs. There is a full catalog of audio/visual equipment available for rent on-site.
The venue's Screening Room has tiered seating for 40 with additional floor space for Brooklyn performances and meetings with greater attendance. The event space is primarily used for screenings but is adapted for theatrical and dance shows as well as workshops and readings. Rates are available for daily, weekly and monthly usage as well as a per hour charge for smaller events. Full projection and sound service is available for your next performance and any additional services including concessions or equipment can also be provided by the venue.
The Arcade includes eight vintage pinball and video games with a fully stocked jukebox, a piano, and serving bar. The space is lots of fun and a colorful addition to any event rental.
The location's industrial kitchen is ideal for weddings and private party catering, whether you are preparing on-site or simply need a space for refrigeration and serving. There is over 40 feet of open counter space with commercial refrigeration and four sinks. There are 2 dishwashers, 2 gas-fueled ranges, 2 microwaves and a chest freezer.
